THE ONLINE PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEXT BOOK
I would like to thank all the people who gave permission for me to use their animations. Especially, the badminton ones. This text book was designed to teach middle school students but it would be useful for students of all ages. Many of the videos were found on YOU TUBE and TEACHER TUBE. Please be careful when you are searching YOU TUBE. There are a lot of useless things out there as well.
I haven't allowed for people to join this wikispace only because I have worked hard on designing this site and would hate for someone to delete the material. I would like you to encourage
    Thank You,

    THE ONLINE
    PHYSICAL EDUCATION & ATHLETIC PROGRAM {canada_flag.jpg} {canada_flag.jpg}
    PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASSES:
    Here are a few guidelines
    TEXT BOOK
I would like to thank all the people who gave permission
    for our classes:
    1. Section 8: Dress Code-Physical Education Classes: (from Nasis SGH)
While participating in physical education classes, students are expected
me to wear appropriate clothign and footwear foruse their animations. Especially, the particular activity. T-shirts, sweat tops, shorts, sweat pants and proper indoor sneakers are required. Proper inddor sneakers have skid-proof soles and are notbadminton ones. This text book was designed to teach middle school students but it would be worn outside. Physical Education clothing is to be worn only in physical education classes. Pyjama pants are NOT acceptable attire in physical education classes and are not to be worn at school. For safety reasons, 'roller blade sneakers'/'heelies' and/or 'clog runners' are not to be worn in physical education classes. 'Skateboard sneakers are acceptable only if they are tied tightly to assist in alleviating any foot injuries.
    Reasons for Expected Behaviour
Proper clothing and footwear enhance safe participation and hygiene in physical activity and physical education classes.
    FORGETTING GYM CLOTHES
The following steps will be taken
useful for students forgetting their gym clothes. Student will have a clean slate each term.
    1st time: warning (mandatory participation)
    2nd time: deduction
    of marks (mandatory participation)
3rd time: deduction of marks and a contact home (mandatory participation)
4th time: deducation of marks and an office referral where a member
all ages. Many of the administrative team will isue the consequence.
NOTE: If a student arrives unprepared for P.E. class, he/she is to report immediately to the P.E. teacher (before class
starts while the other students are getting changed).
    2. CLASSES: Each student will have 2 - 45 minute classes of Physical Education each week. It is important to be
videos were found on TIMEYOU TUBE and to change QUICKLY. Please,TEACHER TUBE. Please be active outside our class as wecareful when you are only supply you with 2searching YOU TUBE. There are a lot of useless things out of 7 days of week of adequate physical activity. You needthere as well.
    I haven't allowed for people
to be active at least 45-60 minutes/day.join this wikispace only because I will updatehave worked hard on designing this site with lots of different ideas that you can useand would hate for someone to keep active. For now, check out this website to help chart your progress:
    http://aarp.getfitonroute66.com/
    3. SICKNESS: If a student isn't feeling well they must do
    delete the following things:
    A. Bring an excuse from home signed by a parent/guardian
    B. Bring their gym clothes so that they can participate at some form of activity.
    C. If students miss an extended period of time due to a medical condition we must receive a medical excuse signed by a Doctor. These students will be assigned a project to be completed during class.
    4. BEHAVIOUR:
RESPECT EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING AROUND YOU!
If behaviour becomes a problem in the class, the student will be asked to sit on the sidelines until
material. I can speakwould like you to them about their behaviour. For every minute that they are sitting out, they must come in at lunch timeencourage you to the gym with me to make up those minutes. They will be doingthrow some sort of activity and I expect them to bring their gym clothes to do this detention properly. If a student sitsideas out the entire class, then they will be expected to make up all that time at lunch time with me in the gym. I call these ACTIVE DETENTIONS.
    5. MARKS:
60% DOING - Giving a good effort (trying your best), skills evaluation and being involved in all activities set and not sitting out. BASICALLY, BE INVOLVED!
20% VALUING - Bringing gym clothes, being
on time, having a good attitudehow to all activities set.
20% KNOWING - written tests, verbal tests, peer evaluation testing, comprehensive activities, etc...

    PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASSES:
Welcome back everyone. We're happy to have everyone back for another exciting year.
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Tayne Moore and I'm replacing Mr. Smith as one of your Physical Education teachers this year. I will also be coordinating the Soccer and Basketball teams throughout the Athletic season. I'm really excited about the wonderful opportunities of teaching at Nasis Middle School. This school has the best facilities for a Middle School in the province, if not Canada. We should be able to run an exciting Physical Education program for our students.

SCRUM - A way to restart play where a group of players form a tunnel with the opposition.
DROP KICK - Used to restart play after a score or certain other occasions.
DEAD BALL: When the ball is out of play. This happens when the ball has gone outside the playing area or the referee has blown for a stoppage.
FORWARD PASS - A violation (when a player passes the ball forwards) that usually results in a scrum to the non-offending side.
FREE KICK - A relatively minor law violation that allows the non-offending side to restart play in an unopposed fashion. Opponents must retreat 10-meters and wait for the non-offending team to kick the ball through the mark. A free kick cannot be taken for goal.
